Server Rules, Security Rules, and Terms of Use

Rules

1. Chat Conduct Rules

It is strictly forbidden to send messages in any game chat containing:

• Explicit racism.
• Explicit homophobia.
• Explicit xenophobia.
• Messages intended to defame the server in public chats.
• Derogatory comments about the personal life or physical aspects of other players.
• Defamation of groups or guilds based on the behavior of individual players.
• Severe verbal abuse or gratuitous insults to other players (punishment will be analyzed by the team).

2. Anti-Game Conduct Rules

Any behavior that harms the experience of other players is prohibited, including:

• Trade flood during PvP events, resulting in a 3-day account block.
• Abuse of automatic parties to disrupt the progress of other players.
• Abusive summon in Icarus and Stadium.
• Harassing beginner players to hinder their progress.
• Abusing the King of MU event to exploit the system.
• Intentional interference in beginner events.
• Veterans must not interfere with beginners in PvE servers (except for secondary accounts).
• Charging for progression of other players is strictly prohibited.
• In Battle Royale, avoiding fights and deliberately running away will result in a 24-hour suspension.
• Interfering with streamers during game events will be considered anti-game conduct.

Illegal Buying and Selling of Items and Resources

1. Illegal Sale Report

Players reported for offering items for real money (PIX) via chat will be muted for 5 days of online time.

A reward will be given to players who report illegal sales of items or resources.

2. Requirements for Reporting

The report must include:

• Chat history from any platform (WhatsApp, Facebook, Discord, etc.).
• Audio or video recordings capturing the negotiation.
• In-game completed transactions with screenshots or videos.
• Payment proof matching the negotiated amount.

3. How to Submit a Report

Open a ticket with all the evidence within 24 hours of the illegal purchase or sale.

4. Penalties for Sellers

Players caught selling or buying items for real money will lose all their accounts on the server, which will be transferred to the whistleblower.

Monthly PvP Ranking Rules

General Provisions

The PvP ranking is the responsibility of the participating players. Any attempt to manipulate the ranking will result in disqualification.

Rules on Kills and Friendly PvP

• Killing members of the same guild to artificially inflate the ranking is prohibited.
• Friendly PvP is allowed if reported to the administration within 3 hours.
• Accidental kills in mass PvP events will be analyzed case by case.

Penalties

• Kill farming or ranking manipulation will result in disqualification.
• Reports must be submitted within 24 hours of the occurrence.

Prizes and Notices

Top 5 players must open a ticket to request additional rewards for the Monthly PvP Champion armor.

Administration Authority

The administration has full authority to apply penalties, including ranking disqualification, temporary suspension, or permanent account ban, depending on the severity of the violation.

General Rules

• It is forbidden to send repetitive messages (flood) in any public chat of the game.
• Players who abuse the ALT + F1 bug while frozen will be banned for 15 days.
• Creating characters solely to reserve a nickname and prevent other players from using it is prohibited.
• Using the beginner server exclusively for PvP, hindering the progress of new players, is prohibited.
• Veteran players are prohibited from using characters with end-game or near end-game items on the beginner server.
• Violating this rule will result in a permanent ban from the beginner server with no possibility of return.
• Players who enter inaccessible or hidden areas in the PvP Arena will be punished.
• Hostility between guilds is allowed. PvP in Devil Square will not be punished, as it is part of the game’s system dynamics.
• Attempting to bypass the game’s anti-cheat system is prohibited.
• Any unauthorized external software will be considered hacking, including:
  • Mouse or keyboard software (Razer Synapse, HyperX NGenuity, Redragon, Logitech G Hub).
  • Automation macros (Mouse Recorder, AutoHotkey, Pulover’s Macro Creator).
  • Any other software providing an unfair advantage.
• Using multiple characters to abuse the /estaai command is prohibited.
• The /estaai command should only be used against AFK players in important spots.
• Using programs that automate item collection or monster hunting is prohibited.
• Hacking other players’ accounts is forbidden.
• Disrespecting the server staff is not allowed.
• Exploiting severe bugs, whether known or unknown by the staff, is forbidden.
• Advertising other Mu servers in any game chat is not allowed.
• Using abusive, offensive, or vulgar nicknames is prohibited.
• Impersonating ADMIN or GM names is forbidden.
• Players encouraging others to leave the game or switch to another server will be permanently banned.
• Using special characters that significantly hinder readability or prize distribution is prohibited.
• It is strictly forbidden to slander any partner of The Classic Mu through in-game chat.
• Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse for violating them.
• Unmentioned cases will be analyzed by the administration.
• Rules and terms of use are subject to change without prior notice.

Security Rules

• Never share your password with any player, including GMs and ADMINs.
• Ensure that the computer you use to play is secure.
• Change your password periodically.
• Do not use obvious or easily guessed passwords.
• Do not open emails from The Classic Mu in front of others.
• You are fully responsible for your account’s security.
• We do not restore lost resets or items due to account owner negligence.

Terms of Use

• By registering, you agree to the following terms:
• The administrator has full authority to analyze and judge all reports.
• With 3 warnings, the account will be permanently banned.
• One warning is removed from the player every month.
• We do not provide evidence of penalties to the punished player. All reports are anonymous.
