The Classic Mu 2.0

For the future of The Classic Mu, we have many new things, and we are very optimistic about what we have been able to analyze over the last 4 months, a period in which we kept the server with few updates to observe the evolution of the competitive scene.

We realized that players need constant progression. The use of resources, the feeling of evolution, and the ambition to keep moving forward are essential to maintain engagement. Unfortunately, holding back content in an attempt to develop PvP in a balanced way did not bring the expected result. Because of this, many players ended up drifting away, precisely because they had no new goals to progress toward after each PvP or event.

Now, we will move forward with more frequent updates and with a unique content progression within the server, in several aspects. This includes new currencies, mechanics, items, and much more content.

Monthly update with performance improvements, Easter events, economic adjustments, and new server systems.

General Changes

The witch is back with the letter soup. By completing the word Easter and delivering it to the witch, the player will be rewarded with 1 TCA.

New Guild Panel

Presentation of the new Guild panel in Beta version, focused on organization and usability improvements. To earn points in the Guild Shop, simply be online on the VIP PvP Server or participate in Castle Siege, killing and dominating the Switches.

Monthly PvP

The Top PvP champion will now be able to choose a differentiated set after winning the monthly event. The goal is to further value the achievement of the server’s highest competitive merit.

The old sets remain available in the black version, and the champion may also request a specific color for the chosen set. After the application, the color cannot be changed.

When a card is used, the server announces that the boss has been summoned, along with the coordinates.

Card Boss only work on the Desafio Lendário server. On other servers, they become unusable.

The proposal is to value GP as a new competitive currency, tied to server events.

As a reward for supporting the server, packages purchased for 900 TCC in the virtual store will be rewarded with food for the Panda Pet.

  • Only permanent Pandas can be fed.
  • The food is received through the Gremory Case (key K).
  • Just drag the item onto the Panda Pet to feed it.
  • Level 1: +10% zen and EXP drop, totaling 60%.
  • Level 2: +10%, totaling 70%.
  • Level 3: +10%, totaling 80%.
  • Level 4: +10%, totaling 90%.
  • Level 5: +10%, totaling 100%.

The exchange of the Panda Pet for the Pet Coin was permanently removed from the server, as was the Panda Coin. Now the exchange is from a timed Panda Pet to a permanent Panda Pet.

Crazy Race (PvE)

The event consists of an obstacle race in a linear/maze track, where the goal is to reach the final coordinates in an environment saturated with elements that make movement difficult.

The map design includes elements that test mouse precision:

  • "Miss-click" NPCs: spread NPCs, with no dialog function or with short dialogs, in narrow passages. The goal is that the player, when trying to click the ground to run, clicks the NPC by mistake, interrupting the movement flow.
  • "Freeze Traps" monsters: place static monsters at strategic points. They should not deal damage, but they must have an Ice/Freeze skill with a 60% success rate when detecting the player within a radius of 1 to 5 coordinates.
  • Walls and narrowings: the layout forces the use of tight turns, where one misclick can trap the character in a corner.

To make the race fair, the players’ state must be standardized:

  • Total blocking of teleport skills (Phase, Teleport), push skills, and other skills.
  • Transformation into a single skin for all participants: Rooster.
  • Movement speed fixed for all players, ensuring that the difference is navigation skill and not the character’s speed items.

To prevent one player from bringing multiple accounts (consolation prize farming), the time logic is strict:

  • Victory: the first player to touch the final coordinate is declared the champion.
  • Ending: at the exact moment the first-place player wins, a 30-second timer is started globally in the event.
  • Reward: only players who cross the finish line within that 30-second interval receive the prize. Players who are halfway through when time ends are teleported away without a prize.

It is forbidden to use 2 accounts in the event even if they are on 2 different computers. Only one account per player should receive the event reward.

Event times: 09:45, 13:20, 19:30 and 22:00.

For enthusiastic players who enjoy competition and the event, it is possible to acquire skins for Crazy Race from Season 5 (Fall Guys).

The main objective is survival in a hostile environment, with progressive difficulty.

Map: Closed/dark Devil Square Arena.

To ensure the event is fair and focused on dodging, the players state will be modified:

Transformation: the application will be made and the character will become a white or black little mouse.

Combat restriction: attack disabled, buffs disabled, and use of offensive skills will not be possible. The player will not be able to enter buffed.

Waves and Bosses

The difficulty will be scaled with random spawns, with waves of challenge:

Elimination Mechanic

Each player has 10 lives. After dying 10 times, the player is teleported out of the map, to Lorencia/Noria.

The event ends when only 1 living player remains, who will be the champion.

The reward will be divided into two categories to encourage constant participation:

This system was created to encourage social interaction and the formation of bonds between characters through marriage, rewarding active couples with bonuses and exclusive mechanics.

How does it work?

The system will work based on the direct bond between two characters, only characters and not accounts. Once married, the characters will benefit from passive bonuses and exclusive content, as long as they respect the proximity and party conditions.

Active bonuses for couples

Experience and zen bonus

If both married characters are in the same party (PT), alive, active, and on the same map, they will receive:

  • +20% EXP
  • +15% Zen

The bonuses will not be applied if:

  • One of the two is dead;
  • They are on different maps.

Couple visual effect

When close to each other, for example on the same screen or within a defined radius, a visual effect will be activated.

The visual effect on screen will be a blinking heart, indicating that the couple is nearby. This effect disappears when the couple moves away.

Coming soon for this system:

  • Heart effect above the head;
  • Effect on the ground below married characters on the server.

Exclusive daily couple mission

Each couple will be able to complete a permanent daily joint mission, which consists of:

  • Eliminating a random Golden Boss from boxes 1 to 4.

The mission is the same for both and can only be completed together.

The verification ensures that both participate in the boss kill.

Mission rules

  • Can only be completed once every 24 continuous hours;
  • After completion, each character will receive 1 reward;
  • The reward will be a box of random items;
  • The mission is renewed only 24 exact hours after the previous completion, and does not reset at midnight.

Marriage and ending rules

The marriage bond will be by character, not by account.

If either one changes the character name, the system:

  • Automatically ends the marriage, removing all bonuses;
  • Notifies both players, via system notice or direct message.

The system offers a “divorce” command, accessible through the menu or command.

After ending the marriage, the bonuses are immediately deactivated.

The player can only marry again after breaking the bond.


New Visual Identity

We are working on the server’s new visual identity. During the next updates, menus, interactions, buttons, and interfaces will change, making the server unique and reflecting our commitment to every detail.

Battle Pass and Points System

  • The Battle Pass has been improved.
  • The Quiz event will be maintained as "try your luck" because the old system of specific questions was also not well received; our sets and weapons have dynamic stats and change with each update, preventing precise answers, and other questions were repetitive. We will study increasing GP as a reward.
  • Pass points from missions have been reduced to avoid inflation at the end of the month, as happened this March.

Technical Improvements

  • Improved in-game camera to reduce FPS loss.
  • Now Mu Helper works with basic attack for beginners.
  • Volumetric control added in the ESC menu to turn off music or sound effects.
  • We are working on enabling 120 FPS Mode soon.

    We will introduce an automatic, periodic, and attractive raffle system, with different types of currencies, promoting constant player interaction, resource circulation, and exciting rewards.

    The system will be visually striking, fair, and transparent.

    The system will be made up of 3 main types of raffle, each divided into two parallel categories:

    Operation

    • Each session has 200 unique numbers.
    • Each player can acquire up to 5 numbers per session.
    • Available numbers will be shown in green; purchased ones, in red.
    • When clicking a green number, a confirmation window will appear to avoid accidental clicks.
    • An access button to the raffle panel will blink or be highlighted whenever raffles are ongoing.

    When all 200 numbers are purchased:

    • The raffle ends automatically.
    • The winners are drawn live and displayed on the panel.
    • Prizes are delivered automatically via Gremory Case or inventory.
    • After delivery, a new raffle is started automatically, in an infinite cycle.

    We will have a player luck ranking, with the highest number of raffle wins.

    Random consolation: low chance of some losers receiving a surprise prize of 2k WP.
