Update 68 – Economic Restructuring and Content Expansion
After the first economic adjustments of Update 68, we identified some direct negative impacts on beginner players, especially regarding the acquisition of Zen and progression in resets.
As a result, we have made a series of deep and immediate corrections to rebalance the server fairly, without compromising competitiveness and economic sustainability.
Rebalance in Zen Rate
In the first hours after the update, we noticed that the new Zen system, although fairer in concept, had extremely low values, making it unfeasible for players with few resets to progress.
What was done:
- We increased the base Zen drop rate by 6x compared to the beginning of the day.
- Now, beginner players can farm Zen with much more efficiency and stability.
Restructure of the Initial Resets Table
To facilitate progress in the early stages of the game, the resets table has been rebalanced for those still in the first cycles.
Experience Boost
To accelerate the progress of players in advanced stages:
- Experience after 900 resets has been increased by 10x
- Experience for the Devil Square event has been increased
- Experience for Blood Castle has been increased by 10x
These changes aim to compensate for the increase in maximum resets and encourage more dynamic progression.
Blood Castle – Adjusted Drop and Difficulty
The drop of jewels in Blood Castle has been improved
The life of the gates and statue has been reduced, making the event more accessible.
The chance to drop TCA Fragments has been increased.
Now, Blood Castle has become more rewarding and less punitive, without losing its core challenge.
Chest of Refinement – Improvements and Cost Reduction
- The cost of the Chest of Refinement has been reduced
- The chance to drop TCA has been increased
- The Pet Coin has been removed, preserving its market value
- 1 billion Zen has been added as a new possible reward
This reformulation makes the chest more valuable and economically fair.
Reduction in Missions / Increased Rewards
- The number of monsters required in ALL missions has been reduced
- Zen rewards for all missions on all servers have been increased
Attention: due to limitations of the Mu Online Game Server, it is possible that the mission may go negative after the update. In this case, you will need to kill monsters until the counter resets. This will be required only once per mission.
New Weekend Event: Boss Red Dragon
Now, every Saturday and Sunday, we will have the appearance of the Boss Red Dragon, with the following details:
- Time: every 2 hours, from 09:00 to 19:00
- Moderate health, accessible even for solo players
Rewards (4 random items):
- 1 billion Zen
- TCA Fragments
- Talisman of Luck (level +0 to +5)
Invasion of Celestials Adjusted
- On the Beginner Server, Celestials now drop:
- Box of Kundum from +1 to +5
- Chance of Fortune Chest
It remains prohibited for veteran players (with another character having 800+ resets) to abuse the invasion on the beginner server. If caught, they will be banned for 10 days.
Luck Roulette – Scheduled Adjustment
- Many players have already acquired tickets before the adjustment and it would be unfair to make a change without prior notice.
- Therefore, the cost of 1 ticket per spin will remain until Tuesday
After Tuesday, the new economic value will take effect, and 3 tickets per spin will be required, adjusted to the new value of jewels on the server.
