Chaos Castle

What is Chaos Castle?

Chaos Castle is the place where Mu warriors fight for prestige or rewards, but only one can emerge victorious. To join the event, you must find or purchase the Guard Armor at the Trade Post and right-click it. Youll be disguised to look like your enemies, making it impossible to tell whos who. A minimum of 2 players is required for the event to start.

How to Enter Chaos Castle

Chaos Castle is divided into level-based categories:

You can right-click the armor to check the next entry time.
To enter Chaos Castle, left-click the Guard Armor when the timer indicates entry is open.
Players with murderer status cannot enter Chaos Castle.
Your character will be transported to the castle that matches their level, and the correct amount of zen will be deducted.

Participation and Mechanics

• Maximum of 100 participants per instance.
• Monsters replace players if there are fewer than 70 players.
• The event starts with at least 1 player in the same level range.
• Appearance is changed to that of a guard, but stats remain the same.
• Characters use sword, staff, or crossbow depending on class.
• Pets and mounts are disabled.

Basic Rules

• All characters are enemies; PVP mode is not required.
• Players can move but not attack during the waiting period.
• Party mode and personal store are disabled.
• No duels or war declarations allowed.
• Chat is allowed during the waiting period but disabled once the event begins.
• Buffs apply only to yourself and not to others.
• Damage between players is reduced by 50%.
• Your own character will appear highlighted for self-identification.
• Scoring: 2 points per monster kill, 1 per player kill.
• If 2 players remain after all monsters are defeated, the highest score wins.
• The map gradually shrinks from outside in, based on remaining players/monsters.

The character will be revived in Devias upon death.

Additional Rules

• Monsters look identical to players.
• Number of monsters ranges from 30 to 98.
• Some monsters explode upon death, causing light damage and knockback.

Ways to Die

• HP reaches 0 due to monster or player attacks.
• Falling outside the castle boundaries.
• Being hit by a trap and losing all HP.

End of the Event

• When all other players are dead.
• When all monsters are defeated and only one player remains.
• If more than 2 players remain, the winner is determined by score.

Traps

• Appear when the total of players + monsters drops below 50.
• Deal equal damage to all characters, regardless of defense.
• Some traps cause instant death, regardless of level or defense.

Rewards

• 80% of the entry fee is redistributed randomly when the event begins.
• Example: Castle 1 with 10 players → 25,000 * 10 * 0.8 = 200,000 zen
• The last survivor receives one of the following jewels: Jewel of Creation, Life, Bless, Soul, or Chaos.
• In Chaos Castle Level 1: only Jewel of Bless, Soul, or Zen will be rewarded.
• Monsters do not drop items.
